Ellection Day

Election day, 2010, is oddly sunny and clear in the northwest. Four years ago, election day was nothing but flooding in my little town. I made it on the TV news when they filmed me rowing my boat to town in the morning. In the interview, I told them I had to get to town to buy coffee and cigarettes. Later in the day, I rowed to town again and was interviewed by a different news organization. That one, I told I had to get to town to vote. I think that's the one that was aired all across the country. Maybe both were, but it was the "voting" newscast that people saw me in (and recognized me) around the country. I certainly hope that wasn't the entire extent of my personal fifteen minutes of fame!
