Okay...Monday night was unusually clear. I could even see stars in the sky! It was so nice to have a (mostly) cloudless night so I stayed outside to enjoy the view for a while. Then...an extremely bright and large meteor streaked across the entire sky. It left a trail behind it as it passed.
So...considering all the recent news about UFOs and other meteors, I can't imagine I was the only person to experience this one...but there was nothing at all in the news. Nothing! Of course, most people around here don't even bother to go outside and look up...it's usually cloudy and/or raining. Anyway, it was a spectacular thing to see and maybe I am the only human to have seen it.
